We recommend that you first test out the bee body and wing cutters on a scrap piece of clay to determine the ideal clay slab thickness for obtaining accurate impressions. The embedded stamps in the cutters will create intricate details, and finding the right clay thickness will ensure the best results.

For the micro cutters used to create the black stripes, we advise using a very thin slab of clay. This will allow for precise cutting and seamless placement of the stripes on your bee creations.

Apply pressure firmly and evenly on to the cutters to press down the clay to cut all the way through. Don’t apply sideways pressure as this would distort the clay shape.
